Sclerotherapy for Hemorrhoids: A Simple, Non-Surgical Solution
When it comes to treating early-stage hemorrhoids (piles), not every patient needs surgery. One of the most effective and minimally invasive treatments is called Sclerotherapy.
What is Sclerotherapy?
Sclerotherapy is a time-tested, non-surgical procedure used to treat internal hemorrhoids, especially Grade 1 and Grade 2. This procedure injects a special medicated solution (called a sclerosant) into the swollen hemorrhoid. This causes the vein to shrink, dry, and get fixed back in place, without cutting or stitching. It’s a day-care procedure, requires only a few minutes, and is usually painless when performed correctly.
